The Chair Man

Sign promotions are about ideas and design. Thinking outside the box can result in your business attracting new customers.

Scenario

The Chair Man in Richmond approached us with the problem that we hear all too often… ”No one notices my shop”. The usual promotional signs such as “Sale” or “Clearance” were having no effect. They just weren’t getting the attention of passing traffic and more importantly not enticing potential customers through the door.

Solution

The shop’s prominent location, facing Church Street, and large windows were being under utilised. Our marketing suggestion was to create a series of large eye catching signs with images.

Signage was changed every 3 months for several years. This strategy had the twin effect of attracting new business and turning the shop into a talking point, so much so that “The Chair Man” windows were noted in local and overseas publications, proof of an effective way of getting the business noticed.

John phoned us on the sale of his business to thank us for our part in the success of The Chair Man. He remarked that we are much more than a sign company, rather he “saw us as a marketing partner in his business.”
